Overview** The Markets Data Module provides real-time market insights, currency charts, economic news, and forward rate calculations to help you make informed FX trading and hedging decisions. --- #### **2. FX Markets Overview Dashboard** Accessible via **Dashboards → FX Markets Overview**, this dashboard contains: - **Key Crosses Table** - Shows spot, overnight low/high, 65-day moving average, and seven-year moving average for key currency pairs. - Helps determine positioning relative to policy minimums, midpoints, and maximums. - Example: NZD/EUR currently 12% below its seven-year average. - **Forward Curve vs Mid Rate Table** - Quick snapshot of forward points at various tenors. - For exact forward points, use the **Forward Calculator**. - **Live Currency Heat Maps** - Shows real-time currency strength and weakness. - **Market Index Data** - Includes key stock indices, bond markets, and other market indicators. - **News Feed** - Real-time news, filterable by importance (e.g., high-impact events only). --- #### **3. Currency-Specific Dashboards** - View detailed charts for a selected currency pair. - Defaults include: - **1-Year Daily Chart** – Short-term perspective. - **5-Year Weekly Chart** – Long-term trend analysis. - Timeframe can be adjusted (e.g., 30-minute, hourly, multi-year views). - A watchlist allows quick switching between multiple currency pairs. --- #### **4. Economic Data Monitoring** - See upcoming economic releases by country and date. - Example: - Australia – CPI release - New Zealand – Quarterly CPI - US – Initial Jobless Claims - Use this information to decide whether to set orders above/below current market levels in anticipation of volatility. --- #### **5. Forward Calculator (Pre-Trade Tool)** 1. Go to the **Forward Calculator** in the Markets Data Module. 2. Select buy/sell currency and amount (e.g., Buy USD 1,000,000, Sell NZD). 3. Choose maturity date (e.g., October). 4. Optional: Add margin (e.g., 7 points) for realistic bank pricing. 5. View results: - Spot rate - Forward points - All-in forward rate 6. Review the forward curve and export results for team review or approval. --- #### **6.
