This is the first article in our ten-part onboarding series designed to help you understand the key features of CNS, how to navigate the platform, and how to use it confidently in your daily work. --- #### **1. Introduction to CNS Navigation** When you first log in to CNS Treasury, you’ll see the **View Reports** screen. The navigation menu runs down the **left-hand side** of the screen and can be expanded or collapsed. This menu gives you quick access to all modules, dashboards, and settings. --- #### **2. Key Navigation Sections** Below is an overview of the main sections you’ll see in the navigation panel. ### **View Reports** - Access all key reports, including: - Hedge Accounting reports - Blotter - Mark-to-Market (MTM) - Performance Summary - Interest Rate reports - These reports are particularly important for monthly tasks such as reconciliations. --- ### **Dashboard** - View market data in a variety of formats. - Includes: - Different data sources - Charts - News stories --- ### **FX Module** - View your FX markets dashboard. - Use the **Forward Calculator** (pre-trade tool) to assess forward rates. - Review all FX-related data in the system. --- ### **Hedge Accounting** - See which instruments have been hedge accounted. - View your hedge accounting strategies. --- ### **Money Markets** - Access the money markets dashboard. - Review data on: - Interest rate swaps - Loans - Deposits - Facilities --- ### **Commodities** - View all commodity hedges and exposures. --- ### **Client Profile** - Switch between different entities. --- ### **Client Import** - Upload bulk data from spreadsheets, including: - Trades - Exposures --- ### **Administrator** - Access platform settings. --- ### **Settings** - Additional configuration options, primarily for the FX Dashboard. - Will be covered in a later part of this series. --- ### **Glossary and Guides** - Access definitions and help resources directly within CNS. --- #### **3. What’s Already Set Up for You** Before your first login, the CNS team will have: - Created your entities in the system. - Loaded your exposures. - Loaded your trades. - Set up counterparty automation. - Configured hedge accounting logic. --- #### **4. Recommended First Step** Bookmark the CNS Treasury site in your browser so it’s quick to access. You can then easily: - Check FX rates each morning. - Review exposures on a weekly basis. - Run mark-to-market reports as needed. --- #### **Next in the Series** In Part 2, we’ll explore the **View Reports** section in detail, including how to run, filter, and export your key reports. -
